Grad day

“Don’t throw stones at me!”

Lol. I know graduation day was over for about 2 days already but I can’t help it when I am sick for the past 3 days and walking around my house like a zombie. Yes, I was that sick. Finally I wasn’t that sick today because I took both western and chinese medicine yesterday as my fever just won’t go away. >=(

Time to talk about graduation day.

3 years is gone. Suddenly, I realized that I had spent a good 3 years in poly. I still can remember my first day in TP. I was frantically looking for my class. I was late as I could not get onto any of the bus 8 that stopped at my bus stop and ended up taking a cab to school. Being a VERY new student in TP, I told the uncle to drop me at the taxi stand instead of at the cargo lift of Business school even though I was supposed to be having a lab lesson. -.-’ Yes, only TP Business students would know how near to the cargo lift were the labs. Lol.

After the first week of school, we started waiting for our classmates at ‘Mushroom’. Every morning without fail, we will meet there and walk to our classes together. As the semester came to an end, we were splited into different classes and we slowly stopped waiting for one another at ‘Mushroom’.

We, then changed to sitting outside the lecture halls. Gathered in groups, we chat while waiting for the lecturers to open the lecture halls. Lunch is usually at BizPark, Mensa 1 or 2, Design school or the 2 canteens in Engineering school. Sometimes when we have more time to spare, off we go to the malls or opposite school. Only when we were in Year 2 Semester 2, we finally had a new canteen in ITAS school.

We were struck with Pinetree since Year 1 Semester 1 till Year 3 Semester 2. We were in the labs during free periods. We were ‘forced’ to take CDSs. Selection of electives and “Add and Drop week” during the first week of school.

IG activitites. A&F Booksale, A&F Sports Day, A&F Day, A&F Community Service Day and not forgetting A&F Orientation.

All these memories. They will always be fresh in my mind.

Thinking of organising a spree

I am thinking of organising a spree. Just checking if there is enough people to start a spree.

Super demoralised

I feel super upset and demoralised now. People with lower GPA than me already received the letter from NUS indicating admission and not to mention people with higher GPA than me also received their acceptance letter. I am guaranteed to receive the rejection letter cos those who got lower GPA got into non-business related degree and those with higher got into business degree.

Sadly to say, I only chose business related degrees and happily put only 2 choices. Now people started telling me that I will get into the degree I wanted, no problem so don’t worry. But WTH, its been a stupid 4 days since Darius received the letter and I still did not receive anything in my mailbox.

I feel so terrible now. I wanted to go apply for NIE and everyone is telling me no. Some even tell me to try SIM for the January intake. But people, with a GPA 3.44, isn’t it not worth it at all to go to SIM? If you tell me to try SIM with a GPA of 3.0 I may still do it but I have an overall GPA of 3.44, it make me feel so wasted.

I don’t want to join the workforce with just a diploma cert. I wanted something more for a better future. Heard that NTU had also sent out their letters. The 1st batch to Enginneering accepted students had been sent a few days ago and the next batch will be next month.

Worst of all is my brother told me that rejection letter will be sent 1 month later. ARGH!!! SPARE ME AND JUST SEND THAT STUPID LETTER TO ME!

I had been comforting myself that the postman who is supposed to come to my house had been sick for the past few days cos I haven’t receive any mails in the letetrbox for 3 days already but today I received a few letters but non is from any of the university. Super demoralised. Going to MIA for days.

My condolences to Xu Wei Lun’s family and friends.

Its a pity for such a young and shining artiste to lost the battle to the death god. It must be really painful for everyone as it happened only less than 72 hours.

According to Asian Fanatics:

“1. The assistant was driving and XWL was the passenger.

2. The car lost control and hit the mid section of the highway which divides inbound and outbound traffic.

3. Car spun out and finally pulled to a stop at the other side of the highway.

4. XWL thought it was safe for her to get out of the car and unbuckled the seat belt.

5. This is when the truck rear ended them and this is how she had severe injuries whereas her assistant still had her seat belt on and suffer minor injury. (It is a downhill highway)

6. Apparently all cars that get rear ended don’t deploy front airbags. The only reason the two side airbags came up was because the assistant hit the car by the side on the mid-section.

7. Passerby tipped off the police that they saw the car going at 120/130km/h and passed them. But minutes later they saw the car stopped again on the right side of the road not moving. At that time the back of the car did not show any sign of a crash. They later found out that the car sat XWL when they saw the news.”

A summary of the remaining of the post:

XWL according to news is on her way to shoot a new drama when the accident occurred and the doctor gave her #3 for survival (#15 is in coma) which is equivalent to minimal chance of living. At that point of time, she is reading a magazine and on the page regarding Deathnote. Abut 18 years ago, there is a similar case on the exact same day that another singer passed away due to the same reason. Fortune tellers had predicted this beforehand and said that if it were to happened after Chinese New Year, XWL would survive.

Fahrenheit

Went to Fahrenheit autograph session today at about 4+pm. Sat down at Burger King for 2-3 hours before we start to join the queue. Did not manage to get the autograph because I don’t see the possibility of getting it and left. Lol. So smart. Haha.

So tired cos I still did not manage to get enough sleep today and standing for a few hours does not help. Now my feet hurts. -.-

Share cab with Eilin and her sister back home. The taxi uncle kept talking and joking with us. Quite an entertaining ride home. Mind block. Need to rest before a long day tomorrow. So tata.
