Sprained my nerve?
I am not sure what did I sprain but it is definitely not my ankle. I sprained my calf but not sure if it is the nerve or what. Lol.
Second time of the year that I went to the physician. That is really bad. Haha.
I got an elephant feet now because it is all wrapped up so that the internal swelling will go away. All my students’ parents asked me what happened. So embarrassing. Haha. I can’t possibly tell them I sprained my leg while I was trying to board a bus and was wearing high heels that day.
Lol. That is how ku-ku I am. Haha.
On the day that I sprained my leg, I was heading to Bedok to run some errands and in the end I was struck at this stretch of video stores. I finally bought something that I had been wanting to buy but no courage to buy. (DON’T THINK DIRTY) Lol. I finally bought Marry Me by Mike He.
As the review of the show hasn’t been very good, I haven’t got the courage to buy the drama even though I like Mike He a lot. So what attracted me? THE PRICE!!! Lol. For a brand new and original DVD, it is selling at only $15. I haven’t bought any dramas at such a low price before. Come to think of it, I think I did but that is many years back. Haha.
So without thinking twice, I bought the drama and went home happily. =D So far, I am only at Disc 2 out of the 6 discs. Not too bad actually. I think it is rather entertaining but at times you wanted to slam the TV because it is so lame. Wahaha. My brother was telling me to switch off the TV because it was super lame. Lol.
I love lame shows. Haha. It makes you happy. Lol. After I am done with it, I will be doing a few more reviews as I am just done with Mukodono 2001 and Wonderful Life. (Jennifer, I finished watching! Lol. Within 2 days. =P) I have so many other shows that I wanted to watch. Queen of Dramas can never be satisfied.
I am still waiting for Why Why Love Part 2 to be out. I wonder whether there will be behind the scenes in Part 2 as Part 1 doesn’t have it. Sob. I want behind the scenes. Lol. I love to watch artistes being themselves. Like Kingone was really funny in the recent episodes of behind the scenes. Or should I say from the start? Haha. Hopefully there will be. =)

Pasir Ris Pasar Malam
I love Pasar Malam! =D
I was supposed to meet Jia Ying outside White Sands at 6.30pm today but both of us were late (though I was still earlier than her, lol). She wanted to get a bag from a shop in White Sands and decided to ask me along.
She was late and my eyes lit when I saw Pasar Malam. Lol. I love to roam around stalls and looking at the dirt cheap stuffs that you don’t get to see everyday. I bought Char Kway (not the 1 with black sauce), ‘you tiao’ plus sotong plus mayonnaise plus some sweet and spicy sauce. Yummy-licious! Hehe.
Jia Ying finally arrived and I went to deposit my tuition fees that I collected today then headed to the bag shop. Many varieties but all are very expensive. I am personally someone who likes dirt cheap stuffs that have many varieties and of good qualities. That is the reason why I enjoy online shopping. Hehe.
After Jia Ying finally bought her ‘long-awaited’ bag, we sat down for dinner and started ‘bad-mouthing’ complaining about local productions. We are so against local productions that we totally do not watch them. Our focus are on overseas products. Hehe.
We shared the same views here that local productions are very typical. They are always revolving around 3rd party, pre-marital sex, pregnancy before marriage, gambling and a few more. It is slowly becoming a typical scenario of what to expect out of a local series. I get sick and tired of the expected plot and storyline that I cannot stand watching local productions anymore. Once in a while, I will take a glimpse of what is showing on TV, getting attracted to the plot for 5 minutes and I shut off. Lol. So nasty. Now, only my grandmother watches local productions. =P
We walked around White Sands for a while, looking for the dramas that I recommended to Jia Ying and off we went to the Pasar Malam. We each bought some stickers to trick reward our students. Haha. I even bought a little whiteboard to make teaching more efficient to my Primary 4 student. =P
On top of it, I bought a super huge ‘ah-ma’ luggage bag. It is not really a luggage bag but it looks more like those kind of luggage that an ah-ma will use, except that it is a Monokuro version. Haha. My mum told me that she would never in a million years bring that bag out and I decided to use it for my sprees. Haha. So if the next time you saw me with with a very big ‘ah-ma’ Monokuro luggage bag, the items inside are most likely spree items. Lol.

JJS Shopping

The vest and white tee from Bugis Street, $15.

The yellow tube from Bugis Street, $15.
—
Before I begin, I would like to say sorry to a few readers. I reopened JJS spree for friends only, as JJS replied 1 week after I refunded the money. I thought it would be troublesome to request for a transfer again therefore I only open up to friends who placed the order the other time. The wait is still pretty long but the clothes arrived at my house today. Let’s take a look:

Parcel from JJS Taiwan via Speedpost Air Parcel, weighing 3.3kg.

Tube/skirt (21040014) $19.50

Blouse (21020174) $16.50

2 piece long top (21020106) $20

Fake 2 -piece top (21020066) $16.50

2 piece long top (21020080) $21.50
***
I wanted to show the contrast of the items and the picture in JJS website but I have some problems uploading the pictures so I gave up. Hehe. But there isn’t any difference except for the blouse which is bigger than how it looks like in the picture. Sob.
I think the prices are fair enough as they are inclusive of shipping fees and all are pretty hard to find in Singapore. Hohoho. I am so happy and contented.
I will be opening a JJS spree again next week so keep a lookout. =)

Shopping & New PC
It’s spelled, F-I-N-A-L-L-Y!
Yes! We finally bought a new PC before the stupid GST hike (hates it).
Went out with Jia Ying and Yan Ting on Sunday for a shopping trip at Bugis Street but obviously it did not turned out very well. -.-’ Cos before I even reached Bugis Street, $48 ‘flew’ from my pocket. Not exactly ‘flew’ but was spent on the ink cartridges for my personal printer. Shitty. That left me with only about $70 to shop on.
I met Jia Ying first and we started walking around Bugis Street. We walked aimlessly and came to the sex toys shop (Is that what you call it?) but of course we did not enter (DUB! It states 23 and above, LOL). We just stood outside, looking at their displayed items. Jia Ying finds it very disgusting but I find it pretty alright cos if they can display it outside, it should be pretty okay. Haha.
I think I had been influenced too badly by my dear cousin, Esther. Haha. She had already influenced my poor and innocent mind with all these stuffs and of course many other friends and cousins who talked to me about everything. Lol. So, now I am open to such topics but only for close friends and my relatives. Hehe.
Okay, back to the shopping part. I bought a pair of sunglasses (don’t know for what), a tube top and a vest with a white top. Total damage done, $40. Actually I need bottoms as well but I just have no idea what to get at Bugis Street. What they have are mostly jeans or denim material bottoms. Those that are of a different or better material are either not appropriate or not within my budget constraints. Lol.
After which, I received an sms from my dad asking me if I want to meet him at Sim Lim Square to buy our new PC so I bid goodbye to the girls and ran off to meet my dad. When I reached, all I did is to choose the PC casing. -.-’ That is because my brother had already decided on all the PC hardwares and system and all I need to do is look at the casing since it will be mine (half). Haha.
Yes, half of it will be mine together with my laptop. Hohoho. So greedy lucky. =P I will be sharing the PC with my younger brother and I predict I won’t be using it too often since I am so used to my laptop now. Unless of course if my laptop decided to abandon me, which I still have the warranty covered, I will go back to the PC. Hehe.
Oh, did I mentioned about what my new PC has? Haha. I am not too sure either. =P I think we have about 2.512GB of RAM, 240GB/320GB of storage memory, a super good graphic card which has ‘GS’ behind, a pretty good sound card (external one on top of the internal) and some other stuffs. We bought a Prolink speaker (2.1) and a keyboard with a mouse were given free.
Luckily for the free keyboard if not we will not be able to use the new PC as the cable of our old keyboard is getting rusty and the new PC cannot sense its presence. Same for the cable of the shared printer. We replaced the keyboard and leave the mouse as it is because our mouse is so much better than the mouse that was given free. I think it is even better than my brother’s mouse. After all, it costs me a freaking $59.90 to get that to replace the old mouse which happened to go bonkers after my younger brother used it. The old mouse was bought by my brother, who I didn’t know only bought it at $39.90. My younger brother, fearing that my brother would go mad when he found his mouse spoiled after coming home from camp, pleaded me to get a new mouse.
Stupidly, I tried to find a similar one but did not realise that the older one is not for gaming and bought a gaming mouse in the end. At first, my brother did not notice the different but I told him honestly and he told me that the old mouse is not even a gaming mouse. -.-’ Lol.
The new PC had been connected to all the hardwares by my father and younger brother while my brother worked on his own computer. He bought a new and better graphic card (better than the new PC) for $490. =.= I did all the installation, from the system to the softwares. I think I am getting better at computers. Haha.
Oh yes, I always thought graphic card is only a small card about the size of a SD card but who knows that it is so freaking HUGE! Lol.
RIP, Ham Ham!

Me
Went to my Primary 4 student’s home today. Help her to get a few assessment books. I really like her a lot. She is chatty and willing to learn. She asked questions when she is in doubt which I really like my students doing that, afterall I am not supposed to repeat all that her teacher had said in school. That defeats the purpose of going to school.
Afterwhich, I met Wan Xin to accompany her to Giant to get a DVD player and she ended up getting the one that I gotten for myself a few weeks ago. Hehe. We walked around Giant and started talking. We chat about how ugly is the graduation gown (which is very true!), other poly-mates and what is going on in our lives recently.
I have to say that I really am not used to shopping. A little shopping can make me so exhausted. I so wanted to hit my bed now but I have so many things to do. I have to continue typing a report on my student’s essay, planning for the next lesson for my students and not forgetting getting ready for Angela’s arrival. I predict that I will only be free on next Friday. I am so busy till I totally forgotten to get the stuffs for the fanclub from Sarah. Gotten rush to her house in the morning tomorrow then to the airport, afterwhich for my Korean classes and finally to Bishan to settle the stuffs for the autograph session.
Sunday will be chaotic again and so is Monday. I have no choice as I am being left to do everything for the 4 days Angela is here. Faints.

ARGH!
Letter from NTU had been released as well to those admitted to their Business faculty. Till today, I received none of the above. The feeling sucks.
As I was stressed out by the non-receiving of the acceptance letter from NUS and NTU and when I came across the fact that I was terribly shortchanged for working with WPG, I felt even worse. Stressed out from all these and when Darius persuaded me to quit and join him in the relief teaching line, I agreed.
My last day is on next Tuesday and today is 2 of my colleagues’ last day. Then I realized that many of them are leaving WPG before or after I leave. The first 2 days when I joined WPG 2 left, now another 2 and in 3 weeks time another 1. I am grateful that I also decided to leave. Throughout my 1 month plus appointment there, I had been doing filing and more filing. I am not learning anything at all and the reason I stayed put is because I have great colleagues and now they all leaving 1 by 1.
ARGH!!!
Now something happier. I went Body Shop shopping after work today and spent $55.75 on 5 items. Surprised? To be more specific, I brought Passion Fruit Body Scrub – $28.90, Olive Shampoo – $16.90, Vitamin E Eye Cream – $26.90, Lotus Petal Body Lotion – $18.90 and Liquid Concealer – $19.90 (my cousin’s). So how did I managed to pay only $55.75? Simple, I get to enjoy 50% discount because of my friend. Darius, his gf, mum and aunties also get to enjoy the discount, thanks to me. I also extended this discount to a couple of my relatives and friends but they do not have anything on their mind at the moment.
Tomorrow a couple of us will be returning to TP to rent our graduation gown and take the last memory with us before we finally bid goodbye to the school. Gonna miss TP very much though it is only less than stops away from my house. -.- LOL.

Last minute outing
Was chatting with Jia Ying in the afternoon and suddenly I got so hyper that I suggested a last minute outing to PS. Went to PS and walked around. Bought nothing but had a super expensive but incredibly delicious dinner. Initially we wanted to eat sushi and we searched the whole mall for sushi. Couldn’t find till we enter the lift and saw the 2 magic words: “Japanese Restaurant”.
We later went to the 6th storey and we are at the sushi restaurant but the food doesn’t look very appetizing so out of the corner of my eye I saw another restaurant next to the sushi restaurant. That is: “The Manhattan Fish Market”.
We took a glance at the menu standing outside the restaurant and suddenly we decided to dropped the idea of eating sushi. Haha. That is because the fragrance from Manhattan is so strong and smell so yummy-licious. Lol. Went in and ordered Manhattan Seafood Platte. It is incredibly delicious. Only remembered that I wanted to take a photo of how the platte looks like when we are finished. -.- Haha. So I am sorry you can’t see what we ate. =P
I highly recommend the prawns though I actually had a very embarrassing encounter with the prawns. *Shy* Lol. But it is definitely something you shouldn’t miss. The sauce on the prawns are so good that I wanted to lick my fingers. Haha. Exaggerating how yummy it tastes. =P Okay, in short I recommend the prawns. =D
On the ride home, I was chatting with Jia Ying and suddenly I got so emotion that I started telling her something that I just found out from my grandfather. My grandfather used to be a very successful businessman in construction line and he was also awarded the contract to construct Sentosa in the late 60s or 70s. That is during the peak of construction and when my grandfather is very successful. Then suddenly everything became zero. My grandfather’s business failed but that is not due to his negligence but because of this cunning guy (now is an old man) who sabotaged my grandfather’s business. By the time the accountant realized and informed my grandfather, everything is too late. My grandfather became a bankrupt while that guy lived in luxury. I seriously hate that old man. Why did he sabotaged my grandfather’s business? But according to my grandfather, he later on also lost his wealth but not to the extent of bankrupt. I called that retribution.
After hearing that from my grandfather I actually started thinking, if my grandfather’s business did not failed, I should be a haughty princess now. Maybe I will not meet all the friends I had now and maybe I would be someone with many rich friends and all. If my family is rich, a lot of things will not happen to my family. Everyone will still be together. I blamed that old man. I blamed him so much but I also thanks him. If not for him, I will not have gone through many tough periods with my family and keeping us together and stronger. If not for him, I would never met all the friends I had now. But I still blamed him for causing my grandfather emotional hurt and also he is indirectly a murderer.
Okay enough of all these stuffs. In the end I accepted what happened and all. =)
Noby left my house yesterday. She went to her ‘daddy’ and ‘mummy’. I will missed her very much.

Updates
I haven’t got the time to update lately. Now its time! Lol.
Took 1 day leave last Thursday to go back to school to get my endorsed results and SEAL points report. Before that I went to Gaint Hypemarket and Courts Megastore. Yup, they are the few warehouses cum shopping malls opened at the far end of Tampines.
Went there to get a DVD player for my room as now my house has 3 TV sets instead of 2 so my parents’ room, living room and my room has 1 each. But we only have 2 DVD players and 1 DVD recorder so I have to go buy for my room. Its superb cheap. $39.90 for a mini size Akira DVD player. The best thing is even if I change disc and put the 1st disc in again, it can still remember where did I stop the last time. Cool. Lol.
Went Courts to get the cordless phone at members’ price for my mum. She had an operation recently. Its $29.90 only. My god. Really a great steal especially when it costs $69.90 initially. Lol.
Took leave on Thursday and I ended up working 3 hours OT on Friday. Haha. Its good cos I get to earn 1.5 rate. =P But this week I am getting restless and has lesser time to surf the net and chat on MSN at work. Only can make use of time during my lunchtime (after eating my lunch) to do them.
So many things happened. Will update again. Tata.
