Cut off from the outside world

I remember the last time I felt that I was being cut off from the outside world is during my SIP cause there is no internet connection and all I can do is to email to my friends using the super slow responding internal email or send a few sms or make a few calls while I take small breaks from work.

Today I was really cut off from the outside world excluding my handphone and the door to the outside world. Lol. My internet connection and residential phone line was cut off early in the morning. Erm… no, we paid our phone bills promptly so it is not due to unpaid bills. Haha. It was cut off for other reasons.

We signed up mio plan recently and in order for the mio package to work, they have to cut off our connection and we have to wait patiently for the serviceman to come and connect everything again. Waited only for a few hours before the man came to set up our internet. Now everything is back to normal except I cannot stand the super slow internet connection that I am experiencing now. I just upgraded/downgraded (whichever you think is the case) to wireless and the connection now can only be described as ‘as slow as a tortoise’.

Another thing is now only one of the phone can work while the other 2 cannot be use. Gotta wait for my brother to come home tonight to take a look at the internet connection and my father to connect the phone lines. Lol.I am super ignorant about all these. Haha.

Now a little updates on my baobeis. Hehe. Ham Ham is now 2 years and 2 months old. That is like the maximum age of a hamster so I am expecting her to leave us anytime soon. She is still striving to live on. Sometimes when I see her, I feel like putting her to sleep. It is not because I don’t like her anymore but she is suffering too much. She is blinded since long ago and has a lump (tumour/cancer?) on her body. But she still receive lots of love from us. I can’t bear to take her life away when she is still being loved and striving to live. She should be given the chance to live.

Mini is growing sideways and ironically after that holiday trip not long ago, she became very active, quick and all. She learned a lot of funny postures and love to hit her bottle against the walls. Haha. She is very alert. As long as I go near, she will immediately sense my presence and look for me. So cute. =P

Nesie is growing sideways as well. She hasn’t been exercising like her sister and all she does is eat. Haha. I always caught her eating whenever I walked past her cage. -.- Lol.

Regarding Noby, she already moved to my uncle’s place a few months before. I did not get to see her but I heard a lot about her. She is enjoying her new home and she seems to be the ‘landlord’ instead of the ‘tenant’. Don’t understand why I said so? Haha. She is allowed to go to any spots at home and she is so self-centered that she actually locked the door to her cage when she goes back to her cage and open the cage as and when she likes. -.-’ Lol.

Most importantly, she knew what belongs to her and if you steal her vegetables she will glare at you and refuse to go anywhere near to you. Lol.

Last minute outing

Was chatting with Jia Ying in the afternoon and suddenly I got so hyper that I suggested a last minute outing to PS. Went to PS and walked around. Bought nothing but had a super expensive but incredibly delicious dinner. Initially we wanted to eat sushi and we searched the whole mall for sushi. Couldn’t find till we enter the lift and saw the 2 magic words: “Japanese Restaurant”.

We later went to the 6th storey and we are at the sushi restaurant but the food doesn’t look very appetizing so out of the corner of my eye I saw another restaurant next to the sushi restaurant. That is: “The Manhattan Fish Market”.

We took a glance at the menu standing outside the restaurant and suddenly we decided to dropped the idea of eating sushi. Haha. That is because the fragrance from Manhattan is so strong and smell so yummy-licious. Lol. Went in and ordered Manhattan Seafood Platte. It is incredibly delicious. Only remembered that I wanted to take a photo of how the platte looks like when we are finished. -.- Haha. So I am sorry you can’t see what we ate. =P

I highly recommend the prawns though I actually had a very embarrassing encounter with the prawns. *Shy* Lol. But it is definitely something you shouldn’t miss. The sauce on the prawns are so good that I wanted to lick my fingers. Haha. Exaggerating how yummy it tastes. =P Okay, in short I recommend the prawns. =D

On the ride home, I was chatting with Jia Ying and suddenly I got so emotion that I started telling her something that I just found out from my grandfather. My grandfather used to be a very successful businessman in construction line and he was also awarded the contract to construct Sentosa in the late 60s or 70s. That is during the peak of construction and when my grandfather is very successful. Then suddenly everything became zero. My grandfather’s business failed but that is not due to his negligence but because of this cunning guy (now is an old man) who sabotaged my grandfather’s business. By the time the accountant realized and informed my grandfather, everything is too late. My grandfather became a bankrupt while that guy lived in luxury. I seriously hate that old man. Why did he sabotaged my grandfather’s business? But according to my grandfather, he later on also lost his wealth but not to the extent of bankrupt. I called that retribution.

After hearing that from my grandfather I actually started thinking, if my grandfather’s business did not failed, I should be a haughty princess now. Maybe I will not meet all the friends I had now and maybe I would be someone with many rich friends and all. If my family is rich, a lot of things will not happen to my family. Everyone will still be together. I blamed that old man. I blamed him so much but I also thanks him. If not for him, I will not have gone through many tough periods with my family and keeping us together and stronger. If not for him, I would never met all the friends I had now. But I still blamed him for causing my grandfather emotional hurt and also he is indirectly a murderer.

Okay enough of all these stuffs. In the end I accepted what happened and all. =)

Noby left my house yesterday. She went to her ‘daddy’ and ‘mummy’. I will missed her very much.

Flu virus

I am down with flu for a couple of days already. The flu virus is spreading. Many of us are down with flu and being ‘angels’ we decided to spread it in the LT. Lol.

For those who read the 2 protected posts recently. I am alright and so is my dad. He is at home now and is doing well. Thanks to those who are concerned.

My dad is still doing some weird stuffs like boiling vinegar? Cos my dad and I were sneezing like hell the whole of today so my dad went to boil vinegar, he said that you can get rid of the germs this way. Not sure how true is that. Haha.

Did a major spring-cleaning for my baobeis. Clean their cages, get rid of the unwanted stuffs and cleaning their surroundings. Just done with it and Mini is now looking up into the sky. Lol. So cute. Haha.

Noby still stinks as she haven’t bath for a very long time and I really mean a very long time. I think the last time she bathed was last year. o.0 My uncle is too busy with his wedding preparations to bath or clean Noby’s cage. AND she loves to come up to me when I am sitting on the floor. -.- Thanks. I am a clean rabbit and YOU are NOT. =P

Need to start baking CNY cookies soon. My dad had assigned me this job very long ago. Going to start baking this week and study for my exams next week. Hopefully I can finish writing my notes before CNY eve so that I can enjoy my CNY. =D

Noby & Celine’s BF’s dog

Was chatting with Yan Ting aka Celine that day during lunch and realized that her boy bought a dog. She told me that the dog being a dog acts like a rabbit. Haha. He hops and not run.

Then I told her Noby is totally opposite. Being a rabbit, she run and not hops. -.-’

Lol. I suspect that they are related. Haha.

Something amazing is, Noby is bigger than the dog. -.-” She is fat. Lol.

I think her ‘daddy’ and ‘mummy’ can’t really see the growth in her. Haha. They kept saying that she is getting skinner or not growing any bigger when she is growing sideway at amazing speed. I bet she is 6kg now. Haha. She is so huge. But I still love her. Hehe.

Noby

Noby stole bread from me yesterday. Lol. Like what Darius and Jeffrey they all mentioned the other time they came to my house for project, my pets are fatter than me. Wahaha.

Ok. I was eating curry with bread and she happily roamed around me with this pitiful pair of eyes staring at my innocent bread. Haha. I gave her a very small piece and she started standing up and want to jump onto the table to steal my bread. Sob. So fat already still want to steal my food.

*Worried* Oh no, she is looking at what I am typing now. She knew that I am bad-mouthing about her but I don’t care. Wahaha. I did not teach her to read so I doubt she understands. Wahaha.

I seriously thinks that Noby should go for sliming session now but I am still feeding her chocolates. Erm… -.-’ Haha.
