Tarots

I have been developing interest in tarot cards. I feel that it is an answer to many of the questions I have.

Lately, I have been very troubled. I want to further my studies but not in accountancy. I want to do Korean studies but there isn’t any university in Singapore that has Korean studies. All they have are short language courses. I want to go overseas to study Korean but financial is a problem.

If I really can send myself overseas for Koreans studies, I am considering either to take it in Taiwan or Korea.

I have been wondering if switching into another professional will be good for me. Afterall, comparing between Korean studies and accountancy, accountancy is definitely the more popular and rationale choice. Korean is just my interests and finding a job in relation to Korean should be pretty hard.

I want to go for a tarot reading to find out if my interest will last and make me a happier person. Should I remain on the safer grounds, accounting, or jump to something that I have interests in.

Still trying to be hopeful

I am still trying to be hopeful. Not a single letter till today and JC people had received the letters. I am hoping that I am on the waiting list whereby once someone rejected the offer, I would get it. I really dreaded people(사랑) talking to me about the letters from uni. It spoils my day(요일). =(

My uncle comforted me that he also received the letter from NTU pretty late so I am still waiting. YOU HEAR THAT NUS AND NTU? You had better send the letter to me asap. =D

Saw a letter addressed to my brother from my uncle’s company. I wondered what is in it. I want to know. I am suspecting that my brother was headhunted by some headhunters. If that is true, my brother might be working alongside with my uncle. Can’t wait for my brother to get home. I am such a busybody. =P

Okay. Tuition assignments had started. So far I had met 2 of my students(학생). 1 from Victoria *sweating* and another is a normal technical student from Hougang. I will be meeting the other student of mine on this coming Tuesday(화요일). Wonder if he/sheis a guy or girl. =D Hopefully a girl cos the previous 2 are guys. -.- No fun. LOL.

So far I already went through half of the Korean(한국) classes. What I learnt are the basic but I can’t catch it when the teacher(선생님) speaks. LOL. She spoke way too fast for me to catch what the heck she was talking about. Haha. To make it worse, the pronunciation of some words are horrible. Such as Sunday is ‘ir yo ir’, 일요일. Its tough. But I guess I am coping well. Afterall I hadn’t had anyone to practise with. Hehe.

Finally bid goodbye to Corner Love, 转角遇到爱.I find it a rather good show. Worth watching. =)

Blocked

I wanted to vent my frustration here but when the page finished loading, my mind went blank. This is bad.

Throwing my frustration aside then. A newly made friend asked me if I came from an English-speaking family. Erm… she is the first to ask and I am not. She reasoned that I speak Chinese in a very weird manner whereby I speak very slowly and pronounce every word very carefully. Erm… did I? Lol.

I lost my way on an incredibly and sickly Monday when I headed towards Orchard after work. Sometimes bus concession isn’t very beneficial. It should be known as a Good Monday while Good Friday is definitely better than Monday. ARGH! I lost my way on bus 124 and I seriously felt like vomiting because the ride is so long and uncomfortable. Decided to alight even before I arrived at my destination. Instead I decided to head home. Too much bus rides can kill a person’s appetite.

My 3rd Korean lesson was today. There is a change in timing and the teacher. Somehow I still prefer the previous teacher because she teach at a much slower pace and at a pace where we the students can absorb the new knowledge. The new teacher is ver fast when she teaches but she taught us a lot of new things. As for how much did we absorb, I am not sure. Lol. But I definitely learned a lot of new things today.

안녕하세요

안녕하세요? (An Nyong Ha Se Yo?) –> Hello?

저는Kelly예요 (Jo Nun Kelly Ye Yo) –> I am Kelly.

이름이 뭐셰요 (I Rum I Moo Sye Yo) –> What is your name?

만나서 반갑습니다 (Man Na So Ban Gab Shub Ni Da) –> Nice to meet you.

A result of taking Korean classes. By the way, I signed up for Korean classes at Cambridge Language School and already started my first lesson on last Saturday. Not too bad. Manageable and the teacher is really funny. Will update again when I had my second lesson. =)
