It is over!~ T.T

It is over!~ Really over!!!~ T.T

I am no longer a 10+ lady. Sob.

Lol. But hey, I am a 20 years old lady without the plus sign. Not that bad either. Haha. Self-consoling.

My mini celebration started with the drunken prawns being ’sober’ and me feeling super hungry. Lol. I came home from tuition teaching to find that the supposedly drunken prawns were still very ’sober’ and most importantly, they were still raw. =.=

Smelling the 40 sticks of satays from 85 market all the way from Bedok 85 back to my house in Tampines, I was already starving. Especially when the satays smell so good. Lol.

When I reached home and walked to the kitchen, all were ready except the drunken prawns that were waiting for my god-mother to come and make them drunk. Lol. I was too hungry and started eating without waiting for the prawns. We had pork chop, chicken wings, battered fish, satays and drunken prawns for the day. *Drooling*

My god-mother finally arrived about half an hour later and tata, the prawns were cooked. It tastes good but I think more wine can be used. Hehe. My uncle (god-mother’s husband and also my 3rd uncle) went out to buy durians. Hohoho. Another of my favourite. =P

I think it is now the season for durians because I saw many places selling durians and they look so yummy. Haha.

dscf0029.jpg

My cake. Hehe.

After the durians, I cut the cake and we started eating again. Lol. Last night, I really ate a lot but who cares. Haha.

dscf0037.jpg

Me, with my cake and the KNIFE! Lol. I am a dangerous person. Haha.

After my god-mother and her family left, I opened my present from my cousin, Goldfish. Hehe. It’s a Mango wallet/purse. Nice and it came in handy since I wanted to change a wallet some time ago. Haha.

Something off this topic. This is my private place and I was telling Jia Ying that day that I felt like a prisoner because I am ‘trapped’. Lol.

dscf0009.jpg

This is my bed and it is between the windows and my bookshelf that has minimum books. Lol.

dscf0010.jpg

You saw some post pads on the bookshelf? That is mine. Lol. I am super forgetful and therefore need them to constantly remind myself about stuffs. Those stickers at the bottom are obviously not mine. Haha. Saw the space between my bed and the bookshelf? Less that 20cm apart. -.-

dscf0017.jpg dscf0018.jpg

This shows how much I love my own name. Haha. I made them out of some stuffs that my uncle wanted to throw away and tata, so nice. LOL.

dscf0015.jpg

My shelf. It is so packed. Did you catch my graduation photo? Haha.

dscf0014.jpg

Saw the 4 drawers that my mum gave me? They are full and there is my laptop on top of the drawers. It is almost leaning against my bed and right in front of it are the sewing machine (I don’t know how to sew. Wahaha) and another bookshelf(my bro’s).

View outside the window.

See why I said that I am trapped?

Shopping & New PC

It’s spelled, F-I-N-A-L-L-Y!

Yes! We finally bought a new PC before the stupid GST hike (hates it).

Went out with Jia Ying and Yan Ting on Sunday for a shopping trip at Bugis Street but obviously it did not turned out very well. -.-’ Cos before I even reached Bugis Street, $48 ‘flew’ from my pocket. Not exactly ‘flew’ but was spent on the ink cartridges for my personal printer. Shitty. That left me with only about $70 to shop on.

I met Jia Ying first and we started walking around Bugis Street. We walked aimlessly and came to the sex toys shop (Is that what you call it?) but of course we did not enter (DUB! It states 23 and above, LOL). We just stood outside, looking at their displayed items. Jia Ying finds it very disgusting but I find it pretty alright cos if they can display it outside, it should be pretty okay. Haha.

I think I had been influenced too badly by my dear cousin, Esther. Haha. She had already influenced my poor and innocent mind with all these stuffs and of course many other friends and cousins who talked to me about everything. Lol. So, now I am open to such topics but only for close friends and my relatives. Hehe.

Okay, back to the shopping part. I bought a pair of sunglasses (don’t know for what), a tube top and a vest with a white top. Total damage done, $40. Actually I need bottoms as well but I just have no idea what to get at Bugis Street. What they have are mostly jeans or denim material bottoms. Those that are of a different or better material are either not appropriate or not within my budget constraints. Lol.

After which, I received an sms from my dad asking me if I want to meet him at Sim Lim Square to buy our new PC so I bid goodbye to the girls and ran off to meet my dad. When I reached, all I did is to choose the PC casing. -.-’ That is because my brother had already decided on all the PC hardwares and system and all I need to do is look at the casing since it will be mine (half). Haha.

Yes, half of it will be mine together with my laptop. Hohoho. So greedy lucky. =P I will be sharing the PC with my younger brother and I predict I won’t be using it too often since I am so used to my laptop now. Unless of course if my laptop decided to abandon me, which I still have the warranty covered, I will go back to the PC. Hehe.

Oh, did I mentioned about what my new PC has? Haha. I am not too sure either. =P I think we have about 2.512GB of RAM, 240GB/320GB of storage memory, a super good graphic card which has ‘GS’ behind, a pretty good sound card (external one on top of the internal) and some other stuffs. We bought a Prolink speaker (2.1) and a keyboard with a mouse were given free.

Luckily for the free keyboard if not we will not be able to use the new PC as the cable of our old keyboard is getting rusty and the new PC cannot sense its presence. Same for the cable of the shared printer. We replaced the keyboard and leave the mouse as it is because our mouse is so much better than the mouse that was given free. I think it is even better than my brother’s mouse. After all, it costs me a freaking $59.90 to get that to replace the old mouse which happened to go bonkers after my younger brother used it. The old mouse was bought by my brother, who I didn’t know only bought it at $39.90. My younger brother, fearing that my brother would go mad when he found his mouse spoiled after coming home from camp, pleaded me to get a new mouse.

Stupidly, I tried to find a similar one but did not realise that the older one is not for gaming and bought a gaming mouse in the end. At first, my brother did not notice the different but I told him honestly and he told me that the old mouse is not even a gaming mouse. -.-’ Lol.

The new PC had been connected to all the hardwares by my father and younger brother while my brother worked on his own computer. He bought a new and better graphic card (better than the new PC) for $490. =.= I did all the installation, from the system to the softwares. I think I am getting better at computers. Haha.

Oh yes, I always thought graphic card is only a small card about the size of a SD card but who knows that it is so freaking HUGE! Lol.

RIP, Ham Ham!

I hate hate hate gambling

I hate gambling. People asked me why I hate gambling. Trust me. I know nuts about gambling. The only 2 games that I know is ‘Black-jack’ and ‘Dai-dee’.

I seriously hate gambling because it now tarnish my hope to go ACCA this July. My family is very careful with our expenditure now just because of gambling. No, it is not my parents nor my siblings who gambled and cause disturbance to my family. It’s someone very close yet not very close. My parents have only $38 left in the bank now. Rubbish. I really hate it for people to gamble. I am okay if people around me gambles but don’t disturb my present LIFE!

My life is already very hard to get by ever since my father rested for 2 months because of the industry accident and my mother went for a major surgery. My family had no income for 2 months yet there are people who earned more than us and still do not cherish what they have.

Gambling comes from greed. Greed is the root of most problems. Please be satisfied with your life now.

Last minute outing

Was chatting with Jia Ying in the afternoon and suddenly I got so hyper that I suggested a last minute outing to PS. Went to PS and walked around. Bought nothing but had a super expensive but incredibly delicious dinner. Initially we wanted to eat sushi and we searched the whole mall for sushi. Couldn’t find till we enter the lift and saw the 2 magic words: “Japanese Restaurant”.

We later went to the 6th storey and we are at the sushi restaurant but the food doesn’t look very appetizing so out of the corner of my eye I saw another restaurant next to the sushi restaurant. That is: “The Manhattan Fish Market”.

We took a glance at the menu standing outside the restaurant and suddenly we decided to dropped the idea of eating sushi. Haha. That is because the fragrance from Manhattan is so strong and smell so yummy-licious. Lol. Went in and ordered Manhattan Seafood Platte. It is incredibly delicious. Only remembered that I wanted to take a photo of how the platte looks like when we are finished. -.- Haha. So I am sorry you can’t see what we ate. =P

I highly recommend the prawns though I actually had a very embarrassing encounter with the prawns. *Shy* Lol. But it is definitely something you shouldn’t miss. The sauce on the prawns are so good that I wanted to lick my fingers. Haha. Exaggerating how yummy it tastes. =P Okay, in short I recommend the prawns. =D

On the ride home, I was chatting with Jia Ying and suddenly I got so emotion that I started telling her something that I just found out from my grandfather. My grandfather used to be a very successful businessman in construction line and he was also awarded the contract to construct Sentosa in the late 60s or 70s. That is during the peak of construction and when my grandfather is very successful. Then suddenly everything became zero. My grandfather’s business failed but that is not due to his negligence but because of this cunning guy (now is an old man) who sabotaged my grandfather’s business. By the time the accountant realized and informed my grandfather, everything is too late. My grandfather became a bankrupt while that guy lived in luxury. I seriously hate that old man. Why did he sabotaged my grandfather’s business? But according to my grandfather, he later on also lost his wealth but not to the extent of bankrupt. I called that retribution.

After hearing that from my grandfather I actually started thinking, if my grandfather’s business did not failed, I should be a haughty princess now. Maybe I will not meet all the friends I had now and maybe I would be someone with many rich friends and all. If my family is rich, a lot of things will not happen to my family. Everyone will still be together. I blamed that old man. I blamed him so much but I also thanks him. If not for him, I will not have gone through many tough periods with my family and keeping us together and stronger. If not for him, I would never met all the friends I had now. But I still blamed him for causing my grandfather emotional hurt and also he is indirectly a murderer.

Okay enough of all these stuffs. In the end I accepted what happened and all. =)

Noby left my house yesterday. She went to her ‘daddy’ and ‘mummy’. I will missed her very much.

Updates

I haven’t got the time to update lately. Now its time! Lol.

Took 1 day leave last Thursday to go back to school to get my endorsed results and SEAL points report. Before that I went to Gaint Hypemarket and Courts Megastore. Yup, they are the few warehouses cum shopping malls opened at the far end of Tampines.

Went there to get a DVD player for my room as now my house has 3 TV sets instead of 2 so my parents’ room, living room and my room has 1 each. But we only have 2 DVD players and 1 DVD recorder so I have to go buy for my room. Its superb cheap. $39.90 for a mini size Akira DVD player. The best thing is even if I change disc and put the 1st disc in again, it can still remember where did I stop the last time. Cool. Lol.

Went Courts to get the cordless phone at members’ price for my mum. She had an operation recently. Its $29.90 only. My god. Really a great steal especially when it costs $69.90 initially. Lol.

Took leave on Thursday and I ended up working 3 hours OT on Friday. Haha. Its good cos I get to earn 1.5 rate. =P But this week I am getting restless and has lesser time to surf the net and chat on MSN at work. Only can make use of time during my lunchtime (after eating my lunch) to do them.

So many things happened. Will update again. Tata.

Moving house is definitely tiring

Moving house is definitely tiring. Especially when you have so many things in your house. No, I did not move out of my present home. I simply moved things from rooms to rooms.

My house used to have 8 people who are my grandparents, parents, 2 brothers, uncle and me. Now that my uncle moved out, we reshuffle the rooms. My parents moved to the smaller room which is originally my uncle’s and brothers’ room. Then we, the children, moved to my parents’ ex-room. Many shuffling to do as we have to shift all the shelves and beds around.

The worst part is cleaning and moving things from my brothers’ room. My elder brother actually ‘kept’ spiders. Not exactly kept but indirectly. He never clean his book shelves so you can imagine the layer of dust that is accumulating there and he kept buying stuffs to add on to his shelves. Cos he never did clean up, spiders actually came and lived in his room. Yucks!

My uncle also has yet to move his stuffs and clothes to his new home. It is also accumulating dust since many years ago. That room is so dusty that I cannot imagine staying in it.

Shifting house is SUPER TIRING!

Bro’s birthday, Pray to the Jade Emperor

Its my bro’s 22nd birthday yesterday. Its also the day we pray to the Jade Emperor. It also happened that my bro’s lunar birthday is on the 6th of the lunar month which is the day my 1st niece (my grandmother’s adopted daughter) came to our family.

I have many nieces and nephews from both my maternal and paternal sides. Just that this niece is the first that is closest to me. =D Afterall she is my grandparents’ 1st great granddaughter. Hehe.

Yesterday was my bro’s birthday. My younger bro went to Royal Sporting House late in the evening to buy presents for my bro. We got him a large duffel bag for his trip to Taiwan on the 13th and a sports water bottle for army. He liked it a lot. =P I lighted the candles and I burnt my nail. -.- Yes, I burnt my nail, the thumb. At first I thought it was chocolate from the cake but looking at the cake again, I realized there is no chocolate. Haha. No choice but to cut my nails. =D

I pray to the Jade Emperor sincerely last night and I felt that after praying to the Jade Emperor, I felt better. I haven’t pray to the gods for a very long time. I am superstitious and is very. I believed in gods and spirits. I hope my prayers will all come true. =)

CNY

Reunion dinner is at my house as usual. I barely can find a place to sit. That happens when you have 5 uncles, 4 married with 2 children each and 1 getting married this March.

Hohoho. This year I sat right in front of the abalone. =P Not that I wanted to sit there. I sat there because I have to help my youngest cousin to take his food. We have 3 tables. 1 for my grandfather, father, uncles, my elder bro and my male cousin. The next table is for the ladies. My grandmother, mother, aunties, future aunt-to-be and the maid that my aunt brought along. The last table is of course us kids. Lol.

I am the eldest after my bro so naturally I should sit down at the table first and instruct my cousins to start eating but before I even sat down, my cousin started eating. -.- Lol.

After which its movie time. We watched 1 movie and the pictures from my bro’s 21st birthday (which is 1 year ago) and the day itself. Then together with my uncle, future aunt-to-be and 2 cousins, we played Snap and Heart Attack. I must really say that I am super slow. Haha. I am always the last and forever slow. Luckily I still managed to win at least once each from the 2 games.

CNY Day 1

As usual we went to my grandma’s house first but never did saw my favourite cousin, Peg. She was ‘pigging’ at home in the year of ‘Pig’. =P Then I went to my 6th granduncle’s house. He got a doggy. So adorable but super active. She even drank my bro’s soft drink. -.- Lol.

Next we went to my 5th granduncle’s house. His 2 doggies are not in sight. We sat down to munch on some CNY goodies and finally have our dinner there before we headed down to our last stop, my non blood related granduncle’s house. Hehe. Met many of my relatives there and we sat down to chat for a while before we went home.

CNY Day 2

Stayed at home to welcome the guests. Many came to my house and again I cannot find a place to sit. Haha.

CNY Day 3

To my non blood related 2nd aunt’s house. My cousin, Esther, not sure if she is ‘pigging’ away or really reading her novel when I went to her room to look for her upon reaching her house. Lol. I chose to believe the first. =P

Watched some variety shows and some usual chit chatting before I went home. That ended my CNY this year.
