KO One aka 终极一班
This show is starred by almost all the members of Fahrenheit except Wu Zun. But Wu Zun did play a minor role in the show. Tang Yu Zhe (南学长 from Hana Kimi) had more appearance in the show than Wu Zun. So if you are just intending to catch this show because of Wu Zun, I suggest that you don’t watch it. He appeared in the show of 21 episodes (each about 1 hour) for less than 1/2 hour.
Okay, back to the drama. This drama is what I called a “Dragon Ball” alike show. Lol. It is almost like “Street Fighting” whereby everyone has their own fighting tactic and powers. There is even ratings for everyone in the high school.
In this special class, 终极一班 , where all the students that other schools fear to admit into the school gathered in this school, known as 高级芭乐高中. The reason is because a minority of these students come from a triad background whereby they have filthy rich parents who are responsible for almost all the expenses of the school(including the teachers’ salary). That is the sole reason for keeping this class going even though their only purpose in life is fighting.
The leader of this class is KO 3 (the third best fighter in all the high schools), Wang Da Dong. He is a good boy in front of his parents, a hateful student in front of his teachers and the best leader in front of the class. His only weaknesses in this class is their form teacher, who helped him once.
Then came along Wang Ya Se who happened to be KO 3 as well, who wanted to take over Da Dong’s position as the leader of the class. A fight is predicted to begin anytime soon.
On the same day, Ding Xiao Yu was also transferred to the class. He is totally different from all the other students from the class. He seems quiet and timid but once he stared at you, fear will overcome you. He was later discovered to be KO 4.
Both KO 3 and KO 4 became good friends because of a few minor incidents and they came to meet a weird guy, Duan Chang Ren, who knew their backgrounds and ratings on KO list. He will soon become the most knowledgeable person who will lead the main leads to find the purpose of their lives. Who is KO 1 and KO 2? Mysteries will be unfolded.
This show is very comical. Yes, you did not get me wrong. It is comical and the storyline is great. It slowly unfolds all the secrets and you will not expect it to be that way. I personally like this show a lot as although the focus is stressful but the scriptwriter and leads managed to put it across lightly, and make you smile or laugh at any part of the show. It is definitely highly recommended.

Mukodono aka My Husband (2003)
Firstly, this show is a 2003 edition and before this, there is a 2001 edition by the actor.
Not sure if you have heard of the song, Hitoribocchi No Haburashi, by Nagase Tomoya. That is the theme song for the 2001 edition. The theme song for the 2003 edition is Omae Yanai to Akan Nen.
The 2001 version was shown on local TV many years back when Channel 8 decided to open a new channel which was closed down shortly and replaced by the present Kids Central and Arts Central. Mukodono was one of the few shows that was broad-casted on the channel.
Mukodono is basically a storyline about a very popular singer, Sakuraba Yuichiro, cool in front of his fans but totally opposite when he did not have to face them, marrying a normal girl and hiding the fact from everyone excluding his record company. Desperate to keep things under-wrap but yet still unable to leave his newly-founded family in desperation whenever something happens, he will take a step forward and help to solve the problem.
As the more problems he managed to solve for his family, his secret as a married man is increasingly at stake. Soon news broke out that he is a married man and he was forced to divorce as his popularity fell greatly. He appeared on his own news conference and …
Will he divorce? If he did, how devastated will he be? If he did not, what will he do to save his dreams?
This show is again a comical one but touching at the same time. I wept everytime I watched it. I am now looking for the 2001 edition but think it is not longer available. Sob.

Hi,
You mentioned that you’d like to see the 2001 version of Mukodono but can’t because it is unavailable. Well, you’re in a bit of luck since I just finished watching one online through a stream video. It isn’t really in high-quality and the subs aren’t very accurate but it gets the job done. But if you understand Japanese then thats good. If you are still interested in seeing Mukodono, drop me a line through my email.
Best of life,
-Adam
